Refer a colleague
Share your referral code; when a colleague signs up and starts using MedJot properly, you both get a free week of Premium.
Open it from Refer a colleague in the header.
How a referral qualifies
A referral pays out once the person you referred has:
- Verified their email address, and
- Started reports on several separate days.
The second condition is the important one. A referral is worth something when it brings a real user; an account created and abandoned is not one, and paying for those would only reward people who create them.
There is a wait between someone signing up and the days landing, and that is why.
Banked days
Earned days are banked, not immediately spent. They convert into live Premium only once your paid Premium stops covering you.
This means earning a free week during a year you have already paid for does not throw the week away — it is waiting when the year ends. Your balance is in the referral screen.
Milestones
Milestones at 10, 20, 50 and 100 successful referrals unlock further perks, shown in the referral screen.
The rules
- Organisation seat holders can share a code but do not earn from it. Your Premium already comes from your employer, so there is nothing for a free week to extend.
- A yearly cap applies to how much can be earned by referral.
- Referrals that look manufactured are held for review rather than paid automatically — a burst of signups from one place, accounts created and immediately referred, and similar patterns. A person looks at these; genuine ones are paid.
- Refer people, not addresses. Creating accounts to refer yourself is grounds for suspension as well as being pointless, since the qualification rules require real use.
Redeeming a code you were given
Follow the link you were sent, or enter the code when prompted at signup. If you have already made an account, MedJot picks up a code from a referral link when you next sign in.
Confirm your email address to claim the days — until then the referral is recorded but not paid.
Where to see it all
The referral screen shows your code and link, your balance of banked days, the referrals you have made and their state, and your progress toward the next milestone.
