Copy and PDF export

MedJot does not integrate with trust systems. The report is built to be moved into whatever you already use, by copying or exporting it.

Both live in the Live Preview panel.

Copy to clipboard​

Copy puts the report text on the clipboard, ready to paste into your ePRF.

The text is plain and structured as Label - content lines, which paste cleanly into most systems without carrying formatting that fights with the destination.

A confirmation appears, including a reminder about patient-identifiable data before the content leaves MedJot's control.

Export PDF​

Export PDF produces the clinical report as a PDF for the record, or for attaching where a system expects a document rather than pasted text.

For a CPD portfolio, use the reflective practice export instead — it is a different document with a different purpose.

Locking and editing first​

If the generated wording is not quite right, lock the report before exporting and edit it by hand. Once locked, tapping findings no longer overwrites your text. See How reports work.

What is included​

Not included: the notepad, which is never part of the report, and the overdose calculator's threshold comparison, which stays on screen by design.

Premium​

Export can be gated behind MedJot Premium. Copy and export are grouped under a single export switch, so when it is on, both require Premium.

Offline​

Both work with no signal — the report is on your device and the PDF is generated there. See Working offline.

After it leaves MedJot​

Once the text is in your trust's system it is that system's record, under that system's governance. MedJot has no copy of it, no ability to retrieve it, and no visibility of it.

Correspondingly, the report on your device is not a record of care. It stays until you clear it or reset, and it is not backed up. Get it into the system that is the record, then reset.
