Branding
An organisation can carry its own logo, display name and accent colour inside MedJot.
/org-admin → Branding.
What you can set
| Logo | Shown in members' sidebars. |
| Display name | Your organisation's name as it should read. |
| Name placement | Beside the logo, below the logo, or not shown. |
| Accent colour | Used on the join page. |
Name placement
Three options, because logos differ. A logo that already contains the organisation's name does not want it repeated beside it; a symbol-only mark usually does.
If you set no logo, the MedJot wordmark stays and your organisation's name sits beside it.
Where branding appears
Members' sidebars — a quiet acknowledgement that the licence is the organisation's.
The join page — this is where branding does real work. The join and invitation page is co-branded: a MedJot × your-organisation lockup, and your accent colour applied to the whole page including the sign-in step.
The reason is practical. Someone receiving a link or scanning a QR at a training day needs to recognise immediately that this is their employer's thing and not a phishing page. A sign-in screen wearing your colours reads as yours rather than as something bolted on.
What branding does not change
MedJot remains MedJot. Branding is co-branding — the clinical interface, its behaviour and its wording are unchanged, and the app is not white-labelled.
Logo advice
- A transparent PNG or SVG works best against both light and dark themes.
- Check it in both themes. Members choose their own, and a dark logo on a dark sidebar disappears.
- Wide marks fare better than tall ones in a sidebar.
- Keep the file small; it is loaded by every member.
